March 2022, n°286

After inaugurating an agency in the 9th arrondissement in the spring of 2021, the Propriétés Parisiennes Sotheby's International Realty group is looking forward to lauching a new agency in 2022 at the very heart of the capital. Encounter with Delphine Avitan, Manageress of the Saint-Sulpice Agency.
Propriétés Parisiennes Sotheby's International Realty is pursuing its development and reinforcing its presence on the Right Bank with the opening of a new agency in the coming months, located right at the heart of Paris. " The success of the agency we opened last spring in the 9th district has encouraged us to expand on the Right Bank and further explore central arrondissements like the 1st and 2nd", explains Dlephine Avitan. Backed by a portfolio of prestige properties including luxury aparmtents, houses and private mansions, the group proposes bespoke services that build loyalty among a clientele with high purchasing power, mainly French since the Covid pandemic. "Contacts with foreign clients are becoming more regular, though we have not yet seen a significant comeback since the crisis, except for the niche market of exceptional properties which has remained particularly active, notably with American buyers", says Delphine Avitan. "The market in Paris has nevertheless been very buoyant at the start of this year with highly motivated French clients. The core of demand targets apartments from 100 to 150 sq.m. with two or three bedrooms, suitable as either a family apartment or a pied-à-terre. This type of property has become rare on the market. Prices are stable, though evaluations are still very high in the best neighbourhoods of Paris and for properties of quality : from 18,000 to 30,000 per sq.m on the Left Bank and from 15,000 to 25,000 per sq.m on the on the Right Bank. 2021 was a prosperous year with figures close to those recorded prior to the Covid crisis. The market for second residences is also witnessing strong expansion, currently confirmed both in chic resorts such as Megève or Courchevel and provincial towns such as Biarritz or Deauville. "
